American Recovery & Reinvestment Act: In Plain Language, What's In It For Cogen?

Jessica Bridges, Executive Director for the U.S. Clean Heat and Power Association (USCHPA), was the featured guest speaker at the Midwest Cogeneration Association (MCA) sponsored dinner meeting at Holiday Inn in Willowbrook, Illinois. The title of her presentation was “American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA): In Plain Language, What’s In It For Cogen?” Nearly 70 attendees learned from her about the various funding opportunities available for cogeneration/CHP projects in the ARRA through various grants, loans, bonds, and tax incentives. Tom Riemer, President of MCA opened the meeting and John Cuttica, Director of the Midwest CHP Application Center introduced Jessica Bridges.
